Miller Ferry
For
100 years, the Miller Boat Line has been ferrying people and vehicles
to the popular islands of South Bass and Middle Bass Islands in Lake
Erie. Touting the lowest fares and the only ferry that takes vehicles
to the islands, the Miller Boat Line leaves Catawba Point every
half-hour all summer.
The 18-minute trip to Put-in-Bay gives passengers time to view the beautiful vistas and breathe in the fresh air while anticipating their fun-filled day on the island.
Adult fares for the trip are $5.50 each way, while children 6-11 cost $1.00 each way. Children under 6 are free. Bike fees are $2.00 and car and motorcycle fees are $13.00. Boats, trailers, motor homes and jet skis can also be accommodated on the ferry.
The Miller Boat Line dock at Catawba is off Rt. 2. Exit Rt. 53N and follow the signs north for about seven miles.
